Who makes Preptide and where?

Preptide meals are prepared in an established Australian commercial kitchen with a track record of more than a million meals delivered across NSW, VIC and QLD. Dietitian-reviewed recipes, fresh prep, branded packaging. The phase-specific menu architecture, macro framework, GLP-1 nutrition guidance, and customer experience — including phase switching, the onboarding quiz, and the dashboard — are entirely Preptide.

Do I need a prescription or doctor's letter?

No. Preptide is food, not medication. Anyone preparing for, currently using, or transitioning off GLP-1 medications, gastric procedures, or other appetite-suppressing treatments is welcome. We don't ask for a prescription.

Where do you deliver?

Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and surrounding metro areas. Enter your postcode in the quiz to confirm — we run weekly recurring delivery slots through licensed third-party couriers. Free delivery on orders $99+; otherwise zone-based fees apply at checkout.

What if my appetite changes mid-week?

Switch phase any time from your dashboard. Changes apply to your next cycle (cutoff is 11:59pm Sunday Sydney time). You can also skip up to 4 consecutive weeks if you need a break — paused weeks don't count toward reward unlocks.

Can I customise the meals or skip ingredients?

Allergen filtering and meal swaps are built in. We can't swap ingredients within a single meal, but every phase has 12-15 options each week so you can build a plan around what you can tolerate. Common GLP-1 sensitivities (high-fat, high-fiber, very-spicy, dairy) are filterable.

Is this safe for gastric bypass / sleeve patients?

The ON-phase macros (250-350cal, 30-40g protein, low-fat) align with most post-bariatric protocols, but every surgical patient should clear it with their bariatric team first. We make this easier with a printable macro spec sheet you can hand to your dietitian.

How is this different from generic "weight loss" meal services?

Generic services use one menu for everyone trying to eat less. GLP-1 users have completely different nutritional needs in each phase — and most importantly, when they come off. Preptide is the only service we know of with a TRANSITIONING phase explicitly built for the re-feeding window where 60% of users regain weight. That's the part nobody is solving.
