01 · Ordering + pricing

Ordering and pricing.

How does pricing work?

Pricing is per meal and set by how many meals are in your weekly order: $12.95 each from 7 meals, $12.30 from 14 and $11.65 from 21. Every meal in your order gets the same tier price, so adding more before checkout reprices the whole order. Every plan includes the phase-filtered weekly menu, free swaps until cutoff and the option to skip up to 4 weeks in a row.

Is there a minimum order?

Yes. The minimum is 7 meals per weekly order, and checkout tells you if you're short. Snacks and drinks can be added alongside core meals, with their macros shown separately.

How much is delivery?

A flat $9 delivery fee applies to each weekly order until your meal subtotal reaches $0, and from there delivery is free. The threshold is checked before any promo code comes off, so a discount won't cost you free delivery. Your fee, if any, is shown at checkout before you pay, and the delivery page has a worked example.

When am I charged?

Your first box is charged when you place your order at checkout. After that, each week is charged at its weekly cutoff — skip or cancel before the cutoff and nothing is charged for that week. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable.

Can I use a promo code?

Yes — enter it at checkout. Codes apply per order, can't be combined unless stated, and may have conditions such as first order only or a minimum spend.

02 · Delivery

Delivery, week to week.

Where do you deliver?

Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and surrounding metro areas. Check your postcode on our delivery page or in the quiz to confirm — we run weekly recurring delivery slots through licensed third-party couriers. Your delivery day, delivery fee (if any) and weekly cutoff are shown at checkout for your postcode, and a tracking link is emailed the day before each delivery.

Are the meals fresh or frozen?

Fresh, never frozen. Meals are cooked in our Australian kitchen, chilled and delivered cold in insulated packaging. Refrigerate them on arrival and heat each one in about three minutes. Our fresh vs frozen guide compares the two formats side by side.

What if I'm not home when my box arrives?

Add delivery instructions at checkout, such as where to leave the box. If you ask for an unattended drop-off, the order is at your risk once it's delivered in line with your instructions, so refrigerate your meals as soon as you can.

03 · The meals

What's in the box.

Who makes Preptide and where?

Preptide meals are prepared in an established Australian commercial kitchen with a track record of more than a million meals delivered across NSW, VIC and QLD. Real-food recipes, fresh prep, branded packaging. The phase-specific menu, macro framework, GLP-1 nutrition guidance and customer experience — including phase switching, the onboarding quiz and the dashboard — are Preptide's own.

How much protein is in each meal?

Core meals are built protein-first, and calories, protein, carbs and fat are shown for every item before you order. Snacks and drinks are listed separately so you can plan them around your appetite and protein goal. Our guide to high-protein small meals has real examples.

Can I customise the meals or skip ingredients?

Allergen filtering and meal swaps are built in. We can't swap ingredients within a single meal, but each phase has a range of meals every week, so you can build a plan around what you enjoy and tolerate. The menu filters by phase, dietary tag (low carb, dairy free, gluten free, nausea-friendly) and declared allergens, and sorts by calories, protein, carbs or fat.

How do allergens work?

Our kitchen handles all major allergens, so traces are possible in any meal. Each meal's ingredient and allergen panel is on the menu, and menu filters go by declared allergens — not a certified allergen-free production line. If you have a severe or anaphylactic allergy, we recommend not ordering. See our allergen statement for the detail.

Are the nutrition numbers exact?

They're per-serve values calculated from standardised recipes, and actual values can vary slightly between batches. Treat them as a planning guide rather than a substitute for individual dietetic advice.

I've had bariatric surgery. Can I order?

Check with your bariatric team first — every surgical patient should clear it with them. ON-phase meals are the smallest serves on the menu, and every meal shows its calories, protein, carbs and fat, so you can share the numbers with your dietitian before you order.

04 · Phases

ON, TRANSITIONING, MAINTENANCE.

What are the ON, TRANSITIONING and MAINTENANCE phases?

Three menus sized for different appetites. ON: the smallest, protein-first plates, for weeks when appetite sits lowest. TRANSITIONING: mid-sized plates that bridge the gap as appetite returns or changes. MAINTENANCE: the fullest portions, still protein-led, for a settled weekly routine. The names describe the menu, not a medical stage.

How do I know which phase to choose?

Take the 60-second quiz — it suggests a phase from your answers. Suggestions are food suggestions only, and you can switch phase any time from your dashboard.

What if my appetite changes mid-week?

Switch phase any time from your dashboard. Changes apply to your next cycle — any week that hasn't passed its cutoff, which is shown on your dashboard and at checkout. You can also skip up to 4 consecutive weeks if you need a break.

How is this different from generic “weight loss” meal services?

Generic weight-loss services often use one menu for everyone. Preptide organises meals into ON, TRANSITIONING and MAINTENANCE phases, from the smallest plates to fuller everyday serves, with calories, protein and ingredients shown before you choose. The TRANSITIONING phase is designed as a practical bridge when appetite changes, alongside advice from your prescriber or dietitian.

05 · Your subscription

Your subscription, your call.

Can I skip, pause or cancel?

Yes. Skip individual weeks (up to 4 in a row), pause for 1 to 4 weeks, or cancel any time from your dashboard — no phone call, no lock-in contract and no cancellation fee. Changes apply from the first week that hasn't passed its cutoff; a week that's already locked and charged is delivered as ordered.

When is the weekly cutoff?

Every delivery zone has one weekly cutoff, and cutoffs differ between zones. Your exact cutoff day and time are shown when you check your postcode, at checkout and on your dashboard. Until then you can swap meals, change phase, skip, pause or cancel; at the cutoff the week locks and is charged.

How do I sign in or reset my password?

Sign in with your email and password, or continue with Google. If you've forgotten your password, choose “Forgot password?” on the same page and we'll email you a reset link.

06 · Food, not medicine

Food, not medicine.

Do I need a prescription or doctor's letter?

No. Preptide is food, not medication. Anyone preparing for, currently using, or transitioning off GLP-1 medications, gastric procedures or other appetite-suppressing treatments is welcome. We don't ask for a prescription.

Is Preptide a medical or weight-loss treatment?

No. Preptide is food. We don't diagnose, treat, prevent, mitigate or cure any condition, and we don't promise weight-loss or other health outcomes. We don't prescribe or supply any medication, and we're not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the makers of any GLP-1 medication. For questions about your medication or diet, talk to your prescriber or an Accredited Practising Dietitian. Read our Health Acknowledgement.

Who writes your guides?

Our guides are written and maintained by the Preptide team using published studies, public medicine labels, food safety references and the current menu. We don't present an article as dietitian-reviewed unless a named reviewer is listed on that page. Our editorial policy explains how we source and correct content — spotted an error?
